What does it mean to Driftzen?
I believe the strongest work begins with observation— walking a trail, teaching a lesson, collecting ideas, making imperfect marks, learning from mistakes, and paying attention to how things naturally move.
Every collection I create begins by hand before being refined digitally. I preserve the movement of hand-drawn work of a real person and the character of those original marks while transforming them into intentional, repeatable designs.
That same philosophy shapes my work as an educator. Great classrooms, like great designs, aren’t built on perfection. They are built on thoughtful systems that create freedom, confidence, and flow.
Whether I’m designing a classroom experience or a surface pattern, the process remains the same: begin with curiosity, build thoughtful structure, and leave room for discovery
